City of Lockport Curbside Recycling & Refuse

The City of Lockport offers a convenient recycling and refuse program that is fair and equitable for all city property owners. If you have questions or concerns about this program, which is not found on this site, please call the City Clerk's office at 439-6676 or e-mail cityclerk@elockport.com.
If you would like to contact Modern about a missed collection, please call customer service at 754-8226 or (800) 662-0012.

For each of the following holidays, collection will be delayed by one day:

Fourth of July
Labor Day
Thanksgiving Day
Christmas Day
New Year’s Day

Single Stream Recycling

Lockport offers curbside Single Stream Recycling! Nearly 40% of all household waste can be recycled. In 2012, Lockport recycled over 2,500 tons of material… way to go! Since the program started in October 2011, Lockport residents have the highest recycling rate in Niagara County (23%).
